Zulekha Healthcare Group, founded by Dr. Zulekha Daud in 1964, originated from her aspiration to provide affordable medical services to people in need. Starting from a humble beginning, Dr. Zulekha's journey led to the establishment of Zulekha Hospital in Sharjah in 1992. Zulekha Hospital Sharjah, initially a 30-bed facility, has evolved into a comprehensive hospital offering a wide range of medical services with 185 beds spread across a vast area. Similarly, Zulekha Hospital Dubai, established in 2004, is a 140-bed facility providing both inpatient and outpatient care, with specialized centers of excellence in various medical specialties.

Additionally, the group extended its reach beyond the UAE by establishing Alexis Multispeciality Hospital in Nagpur, India. This 210-bed facility offers comprehensive medical services across various disciplines, including oncology, cardiac sciences, neurosciences, orthopedics, and organ transplant services in the future.
